Laser Vein Treatments
Laser Treatment for Varicose Veins in Pune
The veins carry blood throughout our body from the heart to the feet. They help the blood flow from the heart to the feet as we walk. A one-way blood flow is normally controlled by valves in the veins in our legs. These valves primarily prevent backward flow and clogging of the veins.
There is backward blood flow when the valves fail, resulting in very high venous pressure. Since veins have very thin walls, this high pressure causes significant stretching and elongation – resulting in the formation of varicose and spider veins.
Millions of people in India suffer from varicose veins but avoid treatment purely because they are unaware of solutions to cure their suffering. Varicose vein treatment in Pune is now possible without painful surgery, with the most advanced laser technology and minimal incisions.
Laser Therapy
A laser is a highly focused light beam. We can use a laser to treat varicose veins. The heat generated by a laser helps close and destroy varicose veins, which turn into scar tissues. Closed veins lose their source and die over time. After a year or two, the vein usually disappears.
Karishma Laser & Cosmetic Clinic has the latest equipment, including the Lightsheer Diode Laser, Intense Pulse light Laser, RF Ellman Laser, Smoothbeam Diode Laser, and Aluma R.F Laser, among many others.
The doctor closes the vein by zapping it with bursts of high-intensity light. They don’t need to cut or use needles in this procedure.
Endovenous ablation therapy / Endovenous laser therapy
Using ultrasound guidance, a laser fiber is inserted into the problematic vein through a tiny incision in the skin. Laser energy is then passed into the vein to generate heat and close it permanently. EVLA/EVLT takes less than one hour, and patients can drive independently after the procedure.
What to expect after vein ablation?
Once the procedure is complete, the blood is redirected to healthy veins automatically by the body. Leg circulation improves immediately after the procedure! After endovenous laser ablation treatment, walking as much as possible is highly encouraged.
