Spider veins are small star type veins which radiate from a centre point. They are purple, red or blue in color and appear as web like maze, branches, and thread like lines or separate lines. They can appear in any part of your body including face, buttocks, thighs, legs or calves making you look unattractive.

How the Candela Nd does: YAG Laser System work?

In this treatment, the laser pierces the skin and penetrates into the superficial blood vessel. In the treatment of the veins the laser uses a focused beam of light wherein a wavelength of light is targeted to the blood pigment. Heat is generated from the laser which helps to coagulate the blood present inside the vessel. This causes the blood vessel to collapse and seal and within a few weeks the blood vessel will disappear. 

The scavenging cells will remove all the blood present in the defective veins. Blood will be removed by the body’s scavenging cells. The laser treatment is considered to be very effective as it allows the precise dosage of energy to reach the blood vessel without injuring the nearby structures.
